1. Become a TIPS-certified trainer if you want to train servers and other individuals in the TIPS program. To become a TIPS-certified trainer you must successfully complete a two-day train-the-trainer workshop.
   
   
2. Become a TIPS-certified participant if you routinely sell or serve alcohol, or interact regularly in situations where people may get into trouble with alcohol. To become certified as a TIPS server or seller, you have the following options:

   1. View scheduled TIPS sessions and register for a session in your area.
   2. Request training to initiate contact with certified TIPS trainers in your area
      who will contact you via email.
   3. Complete online training with eTIPS.
   4. Contact TIPS at 1-800-438-8477 x705 or email the Sales Department.
