Requirements ABC managers are required by law to attend alcohol awareness training. While ABRA does not provide this training, they have approved TIPS Classroom and eTIPS Online training.

Notes on Selling or Serving The "Juvenile Curfew Act" prohibits persons under the age of 17 from being on the premises of an alcoholic beverage establishment between 11:00pm and 6:00am Monday through Thursday, and 12:00 midnight and 6:30am Friday through Sunday.
Dram Shop Liability Laws The District of Columbia is not a Dram Shop jurisdiction.
Acceptable Forms of ID For the purpose of determining valid representation of age, each person shall be required to present to the establishment owner or representative at least one form of valid identification, which shall have been issued by an agency of government (local, state, federal, or foreign) and shall contain the name, date of birth, signature, and photograph of the individual.
