|Acceptable Forms of ID||For protection under the Maine Liquor Liability Act, only accept the following as a credible photo proof of age: any state photo driver license, any state photo non-driver identification card or a passport.
The document must contain the photo of the guest, be valid (not expired) or altered in any way and contain the date of birth.
Any state or federal government agency identification may be used at the discretion of the licensee that contains a photo, date of birth and expiration date. It is the licensee's responsibility to spot fraudulent versions.
